Our Community

We partner and work with a diverse group of stakeholders and support the important initiatives happening across this region and province to monitor and manage our environment.

One of our valued partners is Life in the Heartland (LITH), a centralized resource for residents looking for information related to industry development. One of LITH's initiatives includes hosting a Community Information Evening twice a year where residents can hear directly from industry about important initiatives and projects.

As well, there are a Community Advisory Panels (CAP) in the region where residents and industry meet on a regular basis to discuss topics of interest related to their community, or concerns they may have with industry. The current CAP includes:

  • Aux Sable/Keyera/Plains Midstream

Curious about non-routine industry activity?

The UPDATEline (1-866-653-9959) can be called 24 hours/day, seven days/week to get information from our members about unusual activity.

Several of our industry members are members of Responsible Care, a Canada-based, global organization that encourages industry to promote health and safety policies.
