Overview
Serving North America, Latin America and the Pacific Rim, Dow's Fort Saskatchewan manufacturing site forms one of the largest petrochemical facilities in Canada. It uses natural resources in the area to make basic chemicals and plastics for a wide range of industries and customers. With four world-scale production units on 2128 acres, Dow produces hyrdrocarbons, ethylene, polyethylene, and electricity. More than 1.4 million tons of product leaves the site each year by rail and truck, with over half of it bound for customers outside of Canada.
